Team Buller Riders is an outstanding and worthy training body that our company is proud to be associated with as the major sponsor. The Adams family have been supporting Team Buller since its inception.

In operation since 1986, Team Buller Riders (TBR) is Mt Buller’s only freestyle skiing club, specialising in the Olympic disciplines of moguls, slopestyle/big air (ski & snowboard) and aerial skiing.

TBR forms an essential part of the Australian Winter Sports Olympic Pathway, closely linked with Ski & Snowboard Australia (SSA) and the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia (OWIA). These relationships provide over 145 athletes with access to some of the best program design, coaching and training facilities in the world.

Adams Athlete Scholarship

Adams in association with Team Buller Riders initiated an overseas scholarship program in 2008 for elite athletes and to provide direct assistance to the champions of tomorrow.

Past winners of the Adams scholarship have since been selected in National Development Teams and include 2022 Olympic Gold Medallist Jakara Anthony, as well as TBR Olympians Brodie Summers and Claudia Gueli.

Congratulations to Lachie Turner for taking out the 2022 Adams Scholarship for his exceptional development in Moguls and a podium position in the 2022 Adams jNats.

2021 Winner Indi Speirs made use of the funds towards her training on the TBR Camp in Ruka, Finland. Indi had a very successful time in Finland, highlighter by great progression on snow, and exciting competition performances at the Europa Cup level which included a Gold medal performance in the dual moguls event in Taivalkoski, 3x top-5 results single moguls events and taking out the win in the 2022 Adams jNats.

Adams would also like to congratulate past winner Jakara Anthony for winning Australia’s first ever Gold Medal in the Women’s Moguls event at the 2022 Winter Olympics Games in Beijing – Well done Jakara!
